Digital Restoration

What is Digital Restoration? Over time photos and documents become brittle, tarnished, dusty and can suffer from UV exposure through to humidity and other environmental factors. Even the oil on human skin can affect these documents over time.

​

Our Chief Curator utilises digital tools to blend, mix, clone, shape and otherwise modify key images to bring them back to their former glory. An example is provided below:
